Time to open, again.....
We are very excited to have been given the green light to open our doors again whilst adhering to the new Tier two restrictions.
These restrictions do however force us into making serious and radical changes to our offering, not only to keep our staff and customers safe but also to try and keep the business viable in some way, shape or form.
Tier two essentially means that we aren't allowed to have people meet from different households inside, nor have a drink unless having a "substantial meal". So a family that live together or a support bubble (but no more than six) can come and have a meal with wine and beer, but a group that work together cannot as they come from different households. The Christmas bubbles that people are forming are also NOT allowed to meet in hospitality.
As I'm sure you can imagine in a time that the pub would be ready for Christmas parties this is a whopping blow both financially and also emotionally for all the staff. However we will as always give it our all and are vey excited about seeing all those that have supported us through such challenging times with open arms - just no hugs... social distancing and all that....
